As a Senior Engineer- IT Operations, you will be responsible for:

·Establishing and maintaining standards for the operation and administration of SAP Applications, including partnering with established managed services providers already on contract.

·Working with Vendors to monitor SLAs and conducting MBRs and ensuring service excellence.

·Coordinating efforts across other non-SAP applications to support IT process on operations.

·Developing a framework and manage support the migration of projects from hyper care to AMS support post go-live.

·Establishing processes and procedures/policies for the Application Support team to ensure consistent monitoring of production environment and operations, communications, and compliance with processes and artifacts for IT Service Management Processing (ITSM) with particular emphasis on Incident Management and Problem Management and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with particular emphasis on Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Business Acceptance Testing artifacts.

·Supporting work relative to compliance with all IS processes (e.g., Incident Reporting, Root Cause Analyses, Change & Release Management, SDLC, Time Reporting, etc.)

·Providing day-to-day operational oversight to the applications support teams.

·Coordinating with other IT functions (SAP Basis, SAP Security, Infrastructure, etc.) to perform analysis and issue resolution.

·Ensuring company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Information Technology department functions.

·Monitoring ticketing system and following up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems and resolve any escalation issues that may arise.

·Making recommendations to improve support process efficiencies.

·Ensuring that effective collaboration and communication takes place across the support team.

·Arranging priorities as necessary to perform tasks

·Bringing best practices for SLA management, Service Operational Metrics, Change, and Release Management.

To be successful in this role you will:

·Have Masters degree or bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in computer science, Information Systems, or a related study, is required.

·Have 5+ years of SAP Operations or related experience in L1/2/3 support

·Have strong vendor management experience with the ability to set SLAs and ability to track and monitor service operational metrics is desired.

·Have the ability to coordinate across multiple teams to resolve issues to closure.

·Have demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent deliverables of team/SME, developed internal/external relationships, and established cross-team partnerships.

·Have good understanding of SAP solutions.

·Have experience in managing multiple priorities to maintain a balance between day-to-day operations and projects.
