Roles &Responsibilities:ASteam Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor System Engineeringexpert will be responsible for the Auxiliary System Engineering forSteam Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor. He/ She will havethe opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance companyprofitability and productivity. He/ She will be responsible formaintaining and incorporating new costeffective solutions fordesigns. He/ She should be expert and responsible for designing ofall/ some of thefollowing;
  • Functionalschematic diagrams(P&I)
  • Mainitems selection (control /on off valve boosters heaters) accordingto customer requirements andstandards
  • Goodexpertise in systems calculation (sizing of orifices PCVs PSVsOn/off filters heaters) ability to develop predictive model design(Matlab/Simulink FlowMaster Hysis) to identify transients anddefine high level controllogic.
  • Consistency ofdrafting respect to inputs completeness of input respect tocustomer requirements and Standard and documentation deliveryaccording toplanning
  • Load utility& connection list system designreview
  • Gas separatorinstrumentation; degassing tank instrumentation; coolerinstrumentation; gas plantinstrumentation
  • Lubeoil console instrumentation; lube oil console safety valve; primarypneumatic connection andbracketings
  • Gas watercooler safety valve; gas plant regulation valves; gas plant safetyvalves; safetyvalves.
  • Run down tankinstrumentation; seal gas booster; seal gas regulating valves;sealing gas separator coalescentfilter
  • Perform Technical Reviews.Review process 30%60%90%. Handhold guide & mentor the teamto improve technical competency of theteam
  • Drive Knowledge Management Continuousimprovement & Productivity improvementinitiatives.
Competency/TechnicalSkills:
  • Morethan 3 years of Experience in Steam Turbine & CentrifugalCompressor System Engineer in oil and gas/petrochemical/powersector.
  • Should be ableto provide support on preparation of Equipment Specification /Datasheets PurchaseSpecification
  • Extensiveknowledge of package integration with focus on Mechanical andInstrument disciplines: Piping class material selection instrumentselection andinstallation
  • Beproficient in knowledge of industry code andstandards.
  • Toolsskill: Matlab/Simulink FlowMaster Hysis Siemens NX10 AutoCAD& TeamCenter.
  • Should be ableto prepare Project Scheduling monitoring and control and maintainOTD and Quality of the Engineering documents timelyexecution.

Desiredskills:
  • Bachelors degree in MechanicalEngineering.
  • Experiencein an engineering position for Auxiliary System Engineering forTurbomachinery s Steam Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor inoil and gas/powersector.
