Roles&Responsibilities

  • Implementrobust data pipeline using MicrosoftStack.
  • Create reusable and scalabledata pipelines.
  • Development anddeployment of new dataplatforms.
  • Leverage Azure BIservices for development of Big DataPlatforms.
  • Work closely with theProduct Owners and Architects to develop Azure DataPlatforms.
  • Work with the leadershipto set the standards for software engineering practices within theteam and support across otherdisciplines.
  • Produce highqualitycode that allows us to put solutions intoproduction.
  • Refactor codeinto reusable libraries APIs andtools.


Requirements
  • Graduatedegree in Computer Science Statistics Informatics InformationSystems or another quantitativefield.
  • 24 Years experience as a dataengineer.
  • 2 Years experience usingAzure Services like Data Lake Data Factory Databricksetc.
  • Experience with big data tools:Hadoop Spark Kafkaetc.
  • Seekingcandidates with advanced proficiency in SQL including complexquerying optimization data modelling and performancetuning
  • Handson experience with AzureDatabricks
  • Experiencewith relational SQL and NoSQL databases including Postgres MongoDBCassandra etc.
  • Experience with datapipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban Luigi Airflowetc.
  • Experience withstreamprocessing systems: Storm SparkStreamingetc.
  • Experience withobjectoriented/object function scripting languages: Python JavaScala etc.
  • Understanding ofinfrastructure (including hosting containerbased deployments andstorage architectures) would beadvantageous.
  • Understanding ofLambda and Kappa architecture patternspreferred.
