Functional PMO Lead is responsible for driving compliance with Citi program management guidelines across CRO for Finance, Model Risk Management (MRM) and Data Analytics Reporting & Technology (DART) organizations. Responsible for overall project portfolio management, including developing senior management reporting, implementing and monitoring compliance to PM requirements ( health and spot checks), and providing training / coaching for processes, methods, and tools to the PM community. Requires prior experience with leading cross-functional, regulatory-driven programs within Risk or Finance. A strong candidate will have the excellent communication skills required in order to present and negotiate at a senior level.

In this role, you are expected to:

Understand and communicate Citi project management guidelines to PMO team. Provide training as necessary and monitor compliance to those guidelines. Direct the creation and maintenance of portfolio and underlying program/project status to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis. Partner with Client to understand and quickly respond to Client needs, including scoping of the annual book of work and responding to change requests throughout the year. Serve as a resident subject matter expert on Citi project management tooling ( PTS and JIRA). Partner with Transformation, CAO and Internal Audit teams on Consent Order / MRA / Issue creation and closure. Direct the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary. Coordinate with Technology where ongoing systemic enhancements are required to enhance the existing process; aligned with annual tech investment process.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services or consulting industry highly preferred Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager of large, strategic cross-functional projects. Prior experience in Risk or Finance preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in content creation for executive summary, senior management review packages Highly organized, detail oriented, experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel PMP preferred but not required.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience
