The Role

Reporting to the Digital MarketingManager this role will be responsible for creating welldesigned webpages using best practices for web development including responsivedesign and mobile display. The primary focus will be creating newweb pages and optimizing existing pages to improve performance. Inaddition to supporting with basic design and layout this role willalso need to build the pages according to the campaign briefincluding implementation of any needed integrations ortracking.

Therole will also oversee technical maintenance and operations of thecompany websites collaborating with IT as needed to ensure optimalsecurity performance and compliance.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Translatethe needs of the marketing team into functional and appealing webcontent
  • Lead the development of all new webcontent
  • Maintain and modify existing websitecontent as needed; with aim to improve SEO and conversions
  • Identify and fix any website issues or bugsthat arise
  • Assist in the migration of ourwebsite to a new CMS platform
  • Assist in theselection and implementation of an ecommerce platform
  • Perform regular technical audits of ourwebsite performance and advise on / implement recommendations toimprove.
  • Implement and maintain integrationsbetween our website(s) with other software in the tech stack.
  • Track and report on agreed upon websitemetrics.

ThePerson

Thesuccessful candidate will have experience in website developmentand optimizing web performance as well as familiarity with searchengine optimization and ecommerce bestpractices.

  • 3years website development experience with indepth knowledge ofmodern HTML/CSS
  • Proficiency in websiteprogramming languages such as HTML C# CSS Python C and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of key website designprinciples and SEO optimization
  • Able to testand debug websites.
  • Expert knowledge in Googletools; Analytics Tag Manager Search Console
  • Able to thrive in a fastpaced agileenvironment.
  • Detailoriented; ability to deliver projects ontime with little or noerrors
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
  • Outofthebox thinker whocan find solutions to complex problems
  • HubSpotknowledge preferable
  • Proficiency with contentmanagement systems. Experience with Prismic or other headless CMSplatform is preferable but not required
