Job Description

As a store controller, you are responsible for the cash office and shop floor administration. You train, inform and support the store team to ensure they are knowledgeable and competent in store stock, cash, banking and administration procedures.

Meeting the expectations of customers and colleagues at all times, as well as following H&M procedures and standards.

This position reports to the Store Manager and do not have anyone as direct reportee.

Key Responsibilities

You ensure the store adheres to the company accounting, payroll and cash handling policies and procedures to comply with legislation and prevent losses. Yo u support the sales in store by encouraging efficiency through best practice. You work together with the management team to keep the store up to date and well informed of all administrative policies and routines. Prevent stock loss by verifying reduction and garment transfer routines to ensure correct bookings. Communicate all accounting and cash handling routines and policies within the store.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role of Store Controller, we believe you have the below mentioned skills & experiences :

Inclusive, positive, observant, and willing to learn on the job, passionate for customer service and helping people find their style. A multi-tasker & flexible who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail. 1-2+ years of transferrable experience welcome Management experience in a customer-facing environment Previous experience of administration and training in health and safety.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position for our store in Chennai. The position reports to the Store Manager.
