The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow administration, performance tuning, storage optimization, and monitoring to maintain a robust and efficient platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular health checks and audits of the ServiceNow platform to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

2. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, including response times, resource utilization, and database performance.

3. Implement best practices for instance performance tuning, including configuration optimization, cache management, and indexing strategies.

4. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform performance issues and ensure optimal user experience.

5. Optimize storage utilization and database performance through efficient data modeling, archiving, and purging strategies.

6. Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and address performance degradation or system failures.

7. Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, patches, and upgrades to implement performance enhancements and new features.

8. Provide guidance and support to administrators and developers on performance optimization techniques and best practices.

9. Document platform health assessments, performance optimizations, and recommended actions for stakeholders.

10. Monitor the platform to ensure its stability, which includes overseeing its regular maintenance and implementing necessary architectural changes to support evolving business needs.

11. Update tasks in ServiceNow and track time for project funded efforts as required.

12. Coordinate with vendor and other TAG teams when elevated support as needed.

13. Develop and maintain documentation on solution designs/system topologies, issue resolutions, routine, and special procedures.

14. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

15. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the LS & Co. corporate culture in all actions and words.

16. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

17. May perform other duties as assigned (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD).

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator or platform engineer.

3. Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including configuration, customization, and integration.

4. Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, workflows, and database schema.

5. Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques for ServiceNow instances.

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive issue identification and resolution.

9. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

10. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus
