JobOverview: As a Design Engineer with AutoCAD expertise youwill be responsible for developing detailed engineering designslayouts and drawings for pump systems and related components. Youwill work closely with project engineers manufacturing teams andclients to ensure designs meet technical specifications performancecriteria and regulatorystandards.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. DesignandDrafting:

    • Createdetailed 2D and 3D models layouts and technical drawings of pumpcomponents and systems usingAutoCAD.
    • Develop mechanical designsfor pumps including impellers volutes seals bearings andcasings.
    • Revise existing designs anddrawings as needed for upgrades or customsolutions.
    • Ensure designs complywith industry standards (ISO ASME API etc.) and customerrequirements.

  2. ProductDevelopment:

    • Collaboratewith R&D teams to develop new products and optimize currentdesigns for manufacturing efficiency andcosteffectiveness.
    • Perform designcalculations and simulations to ensure optimal pump performanceincluding flow rates pressure and energyefficiency.

  3. TechnicalSupport:

    • Providetechnical support to production procurement and quality assuranceteams regarding design intent andmanufacturability.
    • Assist introubleshooting designrelated issues during fabrication and testingphases.

  4. ProjectCoordination:

    • Workwith crossfunctional teams including sales project management andfield engineers to deliver customized pump solutions ontime.
    • Coordinate design changesbased on client feedback and projectspecifications.

  5. Documentation:

    • Prepareand maintain comprehensive design documentation includingengineering drawings bills of materials (BOM) and technicalreports.
    • Maintain project files andupdate drawing archives asnecessary.


RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design Engineering orrelated field.
  • Proficiencyin AutoCAD (2D & 3D) ismandatory.
  • Experience with other CADsoftware (e.g. SolidWorks Inventor CATIA) is aplus.
  • Experience in thepump or rotating equipment industry is highlypreferred.
  • Knowledge offluid mechanics thermodynamics and pump designprinciples.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Ability tointerpret engineering drawings and technicaldocuments.
  • Excellent communicationskills for collaborating with multidisciplinaryteams.
