Job Description: Senior Engineer – Construction Machinery

Role Overview

The Senior Engineer is a tenured member of our engineering department. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and contribute to critical projects. Your expertise will shape our products and processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards.


Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

Lead the design and development of complex engineering projects.

Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.

Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and career growth.


Project Management:

Set department goals and strategize action plans.

Oversee big-ticket projects, ensuring successful execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.


Innovation and Problem-Solving:

Drive innovation by proposing new solutions and approaches.

Solve technical challenges related to product design, manufacturing, and quality.

Continuously improve processes and methodologies.


Quality Assurance:

Ensure that designs adhere to safety standards and industry best practices.

Validate designs through simulations, testing, and analysis.

Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.


Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and procurement teams.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Foster a collaborative environment within the engineering department.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field).

Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in product design, development, or manufacturing engineering.

Proficiency in CAD software (Creo) and simulation tools.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

This position is based at our headquarters in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
