We are hiring for the role ofTrading system engineer at Thinkbot ResearchBangalore.
ThinkbotResearch is seeking a skilled Trading System Engineer to join ourteam in Bangalore. We leverage cuttingedge quantitative researchand automation to navigate the financial markets. In this roleyoull play a vital role in developing and maintaining ourhighfrequency trading systems ensuring their smooth operation andoptimalperformance
Responsibilities:1.Design develop and deploy automated trading and posttrading systemsusing Python and shellscripting.2.Monitor and maintain the health of our trading infrastructureproactively identifying and resolvingissues.3. Automatethe startup and shutdown of our proprietary trading systems acrossvarious exchanges and assetclasses.4. FinetuneLinux servers to achieve optimal performance and stability for ourtradingapplications.5.Collaborate with the quantitative research team to implement theirstrategies into productionsystems.6.Effectively communicate system status and potential issues tostakeholders.
Qualifications:1.Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics PhysicsEngineering or a related field (preferred) or equivalent practicalexperience.2. 2years of experience in developing and deploying automated tradingsystems or related financialtechnology.3.Strong proficiency in Python shell scripting and Linuxadministration.4.Experience with financial data analysis and quantitative modeling(a plus).5. Solidunderstanding of financial markets and tradingconcepts.6. Provenability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and managemultiple projectssimultaneously.7.Excellent communication and collaborationskills.8. A passionfor learning and staying uptodate with the latest technologicaladvancements.
