Position : Commercial Head of Siemens Energy Real Estate (“RE”) for Hub Rest of World (“RoW”)

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Real Estate (RE) Commercial Head of Hub for the Rest of World (RoW) region, you will play a pivotal role in steering our business towards success. Your primary responsibilities will include managing all real estate-related commercial matters in the RoW region, ensuring comprehensive and transparent analysis of our business performance, forecasting, and business cases. You will collaborate with a diverse range of team members and stakeholders in RoW, Europe, and the Americas.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Ensuring correct and compliant commercial practices, including cost controlling, RE project controlling, internal cost allocation, and third-party billing Managing regional operations including budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, and analysis for the entire RE Hub RoW value flow Conducting financial due diligence, including evaluating accounting/commercial consequences for complex RE projects and leases Providing commercial guidance on all RE-specific accounting topics (, business cases, calculation of impairments, Right of Use asset calculation) Managing RE transactions to ensure compliance with lease-accounting standards and developing comprehensive Investment Applications for RE management and SE board approval Offering solutions for commercial topics specific to RE business (, lease, real estate construction and maintenance projects, disposals, and purchases) Ensuring all reporting requirements concerning IFRS 16 are met through suitable and reliable processes Steering external shared service providers to ensure work quality, process harmonization, and cost savings Liaising and aligning with Accounting Hubs on all RE-related accounting topics Collaborating with global teams to share best practices and ensure seamless integration of regional initiatives, such as global process harmonization, simplification, and streamlining to achieve sustainable savings for the company Leading automation/digitalization initiatives to improve processes and reduce manual effort within the department Ensuring compliance with RIC and other global binding requirements Acting as the primary contact person and interface to all stakeholders (, country Fin Heads, Business areas, Corporate functions) in collaboration with your team Leading, motivating, and mentoring a high-performing team of real estate professionals in the region
