Whatyou willdeliver

  • Accountablefor ensuring accurate and timely recording and payment of all thirdparty supplier invoices while ensuring adherence to policies andprocedures in the drive for exceptional service operationalexcellence and compliance.

    Manage moresophisticated & unique portfolio/countries for a fluid businesswith challenging and
    Constantly changing requirementsand demands.

  • Establish& manage relationships with stakeholders of different levels ofseniority.

  • Regularlytrack and resolve outstanding issues that have been escalated orfurther escalate to the necessary parties complete incident rootcause analysis and action closures.

  • Provideinvoice processing related advice and information to staff acrossthe GBS and its Business
    Partners as and when required.The role is expected to provide extensive & value addedanalysis with proposal & recommendations

  • Implementbest practices for the invoice processing process and proactivelyidentify propose and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesin existing processes within the team.

  • Ensureaccurate and timely delivery of payables services (i.e. invoice/payment processing report preparation etc.)
    Manage andcoordinate the reconciliation of the relevant systems to ensurethey balance and that any discrepancies or variations areinvestigated and corrected.

  • Enforcecompliance with the Balance Sheet Integrity/ Reconciliationstandard; accurate and timely reporting to Internal Control onledgers for which the team is responsible.

  • Work withrelevant Internal Control team to maintain controls currently ownedand facilitate internal and external audit review

Expectations

  • High levelof familiarity with the systems used in order to maintain andreconcile the relevant system to ensure it balances correctly

  • There is ahigh financial and reputational risk involved in prompt andaccurate payments and invoice processing. Payments and invoicesprocessed to be reviewed thoroughly to ensure completeness andaccuracy

  • Invoicesneed to be indexed processed and verified in an accurate and timelymanner within tight deadlines

  • Maintaingood relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate servicedelivery excellence.

  • Liaisingwith vendors and colleagues in different time zones and potentiallyin different languages requiring rigorous coordination betweenteamsBP

  • Supportingteam members who are servicing different vendors in variousgeographical locations and using different systems

  • Workinghours (US shift) to support Business Partners

EssentialEducation & Experience
Bachelors Degree in FinanceAccounting or related field
Currently pursuingprofessional qualifications (e.g. ACCA CPA CIMA) as added advantage
Minimum of 610 years of experience in generalaccounting invoice processing
