Position Summary
Your will provide Finance support the Client Partner / AGM, Account Delivery and Finance Manager on their Accounts, acting as their Finance business partner / advisor, supporting the delivery of their planned financial outcomes each year. This will require you to support the stakeholders understand Revenue, Cost, AOP, OB to Rev/AOP flowthrough etc. and related Balance Sheet, ensuring compliance with Accounting Policies, GAAP, various Internal & external audits, and SOX requirements.
Key responsibilities and areas of focus:
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities.
• Providing financial reports that accurately reflect financial performance of the account.
• Review Contract/MSA/SOW in terms of Financial and Pricing clauses (such as COLA, price changes, volume commitments, ARC/RRC, termination, SLA etc.) towards identifying and assessing the risk and provide logical recommendations.
• Engage in the planning cycles (Strategic Plan, Operating plan, Forecasts etc.) with high level of accuracy and thorough understanding of the business dynamics in collaboration with the business.
• Complete understanding of the Revenue and cost at an account level, including elements such as labor charge, utilization, cross-charges, and various other non-labor cost elements.
• Ensure forecast accuracy at the account level by collaborating with Business stakeholders working through financial modelling & analysis coupled with insights into risk and opportunities (R&O).
• Drive forecast process for the account and maintain working files & models to support the process including view of backlog & sales pipeline.
• Review and control over Balance sheet items such as Unbilled, Deferred, Accruals etc. and drive timely liquidation.
• Support various stakeholders driving margin improvement initiatives.
• Proactively drive process improvement and initiatives towards tighter process controls, cost takeouts, plugging revenue / cost leakages etc.
• Provide mentorship to new joiners and engage in Training programs as a Trainor in your area of expertise.
Control & Compliance
• Drive compliance to applicable internal and external accounting policies, GAAP, and audit requirements.
• Drive adherence to Various SOX Controls applicable to the function.
• Support and provide information to others functions such as controllership, SOX team etc.
• Participate and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain a strong control environment for assigned areas.
Qualification
Candidate should have a degree in Finance – CA, MBA Finance, CMA.
