Responsibilities

Able to use professional concepts and company processes to solve routine problems. Works on problems of limited scope and complexity.

Exercises judgment using standard software development processes in analyzing situations or data.

Provides automated testing solutions and maintains them.

Conducts tests, both functional, API and integration testing 

Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance (technical documentation and specifications which are generally for internal use only).

Exhibits high personal commitment to quality, implementing Development best practices.

Works with Quality Engineering and Support staff to resolve problems with released software.

Lead efforts to architect and develop automated test solutions for new and existing software.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline and ensure continued delivery of high qualitysoftware.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Formal education level: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and

10+ years of experience in software testing or software engineering, Appium, API and Mobile app testing is preferred 

7+ years of Experience in BDD automation, 

4+ years of Functional, API and Integration testing experience. 

Working experience with test management tools PractiTest or similar. 

Experience with BDD, the Gherkin language & supporting tools (SpecFlow, Cucumber…)

Familiarity with Dev Ops tools: Jenkins, Chef, Docker…

Working experience with test management tools Zephyr, QTP

Web services integration REST & SOAP in .NET

Experience with designing systems in consideration of NFRs: performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability…

Good experience with TDD, BDD or xUnit test patterns

Knowledge of software documentation, utilities and job control languages.

Requires in-depth, working knowledge of major areas of software engineering 

Demonstrated work history of successful application of concepts of typical problem solving within specialty.

Good oral and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum

Experience developing retail or restaurants applications, Point of Sale, or payment applications is a plus.
