Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Analyst
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing current applications and suggest innovative, efficient solutions to business users, translate business needs into IT requirements and onboard developers on the same and support business users on functional issues.
Responsibilities
·Analysis of Operational Risk Effectiveness through metrics and risk indicators including the coordination and production of key management information. Including continuous development and distribution of the Operational Risk Management Metric.
·Coordination and execution of independent testing against essential and key controls in line with UK and Grupo Santander requirements.
·Identifying the need for, and conducting, independent targeted reviews of Framework compliance and effectiveness, and managing such reviews with engagement of all key stakeholders.
·Analysis of regular UK Control Profile data, including responding to and regularly updating Grupo Santander assurance reviews.
·Acting as Senior Support for GRC System and Reporting Platforms. Continuously engage users to enhance the tools for Non-Financial Risk Management including Risk Appetite, RCSA, Action Management and Metrics.
·Work with the 1st Line of Defense on end-user reporting requirements. This includes the development and creation of regular, canned end-user reporting.
·Support the wider Governance, Reporting and Standards team on Executive, Group and Board level Non-Financial Reporting and Insights.
·Coordination and data management of the monthly ORRC Metrics.
·Enhancing and maintaining the annual completion of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Certification Exercise.
·Enhancing and maintaining the existing Non-Financial Risk Management process for the UK Perimeter Exercise (including creation and annual updates of ORRC Services).
·Coordination and analysis of Santander UK Risk Infrastructure, including benchmarking to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
·Coordinate and facilitate Non-Financial Risk Operating Group with key NFR Practitioners from across the organization.
·Completing qualitative analysis and key insights to present key messages and focus areas inthe above Operating Group.
·Providing logistics to Steering Committee, Principal Non-Financial Risk and framework forums, including organizing meeting invites, room bookings, participating with the production of the pack and providing minutes in a timely manner
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
·B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
·Reporting experience, GRC, Operational Risk, Non-financial risk, RCSA
Preferred Qualifications
·Excellent in SQL queries.
·Be a quick learner
·Flexible in working during US hours
·Good communication skill
·Knowledge in Agile
·Business knowledge of lending products both security and not security based
·Tools: MS Visio, Jira, SharePoint, UML, SQL, MS Office (good handle on PowerPoint and excel)
·Basic programming knowledge, good communication skills to interact with Business teams, communicate requirements from Business to tech and QA teams.
·Functional and technical arch diagrams, process flows, etc. and worked in Agile environment.
·Jira dashboards, different views for reporting, PowerPoint decks for senior management updates.
·Knowledge of WM/Finance domain.
·Good to have capital market experience
