ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Skills

Responsibilities:

· Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure

· Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers

· Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.

· Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.

· Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

· Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

· Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.

· Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions.

· Build, deploy, and monitor production systems using DevOps techniques. Troubleshoot complex Unix/Linux issues in various environments.

· Write scripts to monitor systems and applications; revise software designs to mitigate failures in other parts of the stack; secure/harden application systems against compromise.

· Troubleshoot GIT issues and support engineering and testing team around GIT.

· Orchestrate deployment dependencies; troubleshoot deployment issues.

· Analyze logging and diagnostic information using logging utilities.

· Deploy updates and fixes and provide Level 3 technical support.

· Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.

· Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.

· Develop scripts to automate visualization.

· Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Requirements:

· Experience automating and orchestrating workloads for large-scale enterprise .NET based applications using Kubernetes.

· Hands-on experience with cloud solutions at massive scale and resiliency.

· Deploy updates and fixes.

· Experience with SQL/NoSQl Databases a plus;

· Good knowledge of Ruby or Python;

· Deep knowledge & Understanding of (including configuring and adopting) build tools;

· Knowledgeable with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and tools;

· Write scripts and automation using Python/Bash;

· Clearly demonstrate, hands on experience with shell scripting, Python, Groovy, etc;

· BS Degree in computer science; MS Degree is preferred;

· Develop scripts to automate visualization.
