RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Growdevelop and manage team to own daily processing documentation andoversight of raw data into core data tables usable for reportingand analytics
    • This willbe a new team built out over approximately a three year period toencompass roles focused initially on data engineering anddocumentation but expanding into Power BI support and ETLdevelopment
  • Exercises curiosityto partner with business and analytics professionals to understandthe use cases for data and ensure that data structures and contentmeet businessneeds
  • Uses initiative toproactively identify and mitigate risks to data integrity throughcollaborative process improvements leveraging business rapport toinfluence without authority and lead organizational change in thecause of betterdata
  • Builds rapport withAmericas team and collaborating partner teams to foster inclusiveoneteam culture
  • Build and maintainsales reporting environment based on experience in dataarchitecture data warehousing principles and handson experience infull information lifecycle from data origination to dataconsumption
  • Collaborate with DataArchitects application partners and Solutions Engineers ontechnology both onprem and cloud ensuring solutions are scalablereliable and secure to ensure alignment with organizationalobjectives
  • Defines individualperformance objectives and development plans and ensures alignmentwith organizationalobjectives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8years experience with Data Architecture/Data Warehousing database(Snowflake SQL Server) BI Tools (Power BI) ETL tools and/ordevelopment technologiespreferred
  • 5years in structured multinationalbusinessespreferred
  • 3 yearsof business experience supporting analytics teamspreferred
  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technicalfield or equivalent professionalexperience
  • Strong written andoral communication skills particularly in bridging communicationsacross high and lowcontextcultures
  • Expert skill level inSQL able to decipher the intent of queries that have already beenwritten and collaborate with business process experts to translateexisting logic into businessterms
  • Experiencecoordinating multiple noncollocated teams to achieve desiredoutcomes
  • Familiarity with ETLtools best practices review board polices in a corporateenvironment
  • Lifelonglearner
  • Comfortable withambiguity and with exercising curiosity to effectively meet needsof key partners
  • Embraces technicalchallenges
