A venture studio that's headquartered in Singapore, started by an ex-founder of the largest Indian e-commerce company, is looking for team members for the venture at various levels.. We are dedicated to driving growth and innovation through deep market insights and strategic evaluation. This stealth startup is seeking a ‘Senior Research Analyst (Venture Builder Team) who excels at deciphering complex data sets and transforming them into actionable insights that influence key business decisions and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct multi-sector market research to identify potential target industries, sectors, and companies for Venture building.

  • Identify business opportunities, trends, and potential risks.

  • Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate the viability of various business ideas.

  • Conduct research focused on sector-level thesis building and support the OppDoor Leadership Team (ODLT) in generating ideas. Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions

  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

  • Analyze and come up with reports, trends, and for sector and business recommendations for the venture.

  • Utilize industry knowledge and research findings to enable informed investment decisions.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.

  • Present research findings and data-driven insights to senior-level management and CXOs of various businesses.



Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in research analysis or investment analysis.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.

  • Proficient in using various research tools and platforms to gather relevant information.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey research findings and investment recommendations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adhere to tight deadlines.

  • Passionate about staying informed on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Skilled in creating narratives and storytelling to present research findings compellingly to senior management.
