Responsibilities:

Planning, designing and consultation the Storage, Backup, and Security strategy, including ownership for all data classification and participates in regular Presales activities and support sales team. - Good to have Work together with SDMs, COE Leads, the helpdesk, and other functional groups within organization. Lead a team of Storage and backup administrators, providing guidance and mentorship. Extensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup and Recovery and Disaster Recovery as Track Lead. Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting large mission critical installations. In depth experience and understanding of Storage Architecture and SAN/NAS/DAS/iSCSI design especially with large scale implementation experience Excellent knowledge on SAN / NAS / FC Switches / Tape Libraries Should have strong technical experience/ expertise with applications to integrate with backup software. Should be able to architect solutions on above platforms and have strong understanding of all IT security standards and products. Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets the bigger team objectives. Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other global IT teams to complete project work. Engages with all levels of management and key stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage support and operational objectives. Identify and incorporate future service management needs into a well-considered multi-year roadmap across the support areas. Identifies, constructs, and implements plans to remove friction in the day-to-day operation. Lead the culture of continuous improvement by identifying projects, initiatives & getting the business or leadership engagement and deliver them. Contribute to Operation Reviews of IT services covering Customer Satisfaction, SLA performance, and Operational metrics. Producing regular and accurate service management reports and dashboards for the leadership team. Strong understanding of ITIL or similar service management process standards along with ticketing tool like ServiceNow, ITSM Public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Devops, and scripting knowledge to automate regular and complex activities. Storage platforms: NetApp cluster mode, NetApp HCI, HP MSA, EMC Power Vault and Power Store, EMC Unity, EMC Isilon, XtremeIO, Hyperflex, CISCO MDS Switches, Pure Storage, Cloud Storage Snapshot and Replication technologies: Snapmirrors/Snapvaults/EMC Checkpoints (mandatory) Backup and Recovery platforms: Cohesity Data Protect and Dell EMC Networker (optional) Tape libraries from vendors like Oracle and Spectra logic or similar (Optional) Disaster Recovery technologies: (Including Storage, Data Base and Server based systems and Disaster Recovery of Backup catalogs) Knowledge of storage and backup encryption technologies Knowledge on OS (Linux and/or Wintel) with scripting skills (Mandatory)

Having excellent interpersonal and leadership skills will be critical for success: success depends on building rapport and credibility with multiple stakeholders across the organization. Have a wide degree of creativity and latitude to adjust to rapidly changing plans and circumstances. Experience working in a hybrid on-prem and public cloud environment. knowledge on Splunk queries and Splunk Dashboards along with Secure Copy , Robocopy (Essential) Certifications from major vendors like NetApp, Dell and Cohesity.

Experience:

15+ years of relevant Storage & Backup technologies.  Ability to work seamlessly with both vendors and internal stakeholders. Identify and drive efficiency improvement initiatives. Ability to escalate critical issues to internal and/or 3rd-parties, as appropriate, and communicate status and resolution to the team. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently while making sound decisions. Good knowledge of industry tools Job Requirements Details:

15+ years of IT-related work experience with a bachelor"s degree (Preferably Engineering but not Mandatory). 6+ years of experience leading projects/programs. HP, IBM, VAST, NCPA (NetApp certified), EMC Certified and any other OEM certified will be preferred Automation is desirable
