SUMMARY
Join our dynamic CIO PMO Organization as a Project Coordinator/Project Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering IT infrastructure, cloud, and security services to our internal clients. You'll lead matrixed resources through the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to close, aligning technology solutions with business requirements. Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, you'll proactively identify opportunities, conduct analyses, and manage delivery schedules to meet business metrics and benchmarks. As a valued member of our cross-functional team, you'll collaborate closely within the broader CIO Org, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills. You must excel in reporting project status and results to leadership, possess strong planning and time-management abilities, and thrive in balancing multiple assignments and deadlines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist project managers or functional leads in managing projects, coordinating resource allocation, and assigning tasks to achieve milestones. Track project changes and produce updated schedules in alignment with other departments, stakeholders, and the PMO. Gather and update project materials, requirements, and lessons learned documents. Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, providing comprehensive project details from initiation to completion. Monitor risk management and facilitate issue/problem resolution as needed. Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports for management review.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. 3+ years of IT project management experience, demonstrating proficiency in bridging business and technical teams. 3+ years' experience in a defined project management methodology. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred project management certifications: PMP, CSM, ITIL. Familiarity with procedures, guidelines, process improvement, and product management preferred. Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, SharePoint, and TEAMS.-
