PrimeFunction:

 

  • Todirect and coordinate the overall activities of the EngineeringDepartment.
  • Conform and adhere to the policies& procedures and rules & regulations as laid downby ibis Nashik in order to achieve the highest levels of guestservice.
  • To maintain regular inventories of thetechnical equipment.
  • Ensure quality is adheredto in all aspects of the job by the Engineeringteam.
  • Any matter which may effect the interestsof ACCOR should be brought to theattention of the Management.
  • To abide by themission statement of the Company and of thedepartment.
  • Facilitates the functioning of and/ or oversees the functioning of Housekeeping Department or anyother Department in the Hotel when necessitated by circumstancesand as mandated by the General Manager. This would be over andabove regular stipulated responsibilities andduties.

 

KeyResponsibilities:

 

EngineeringPlanning

 

  • Identifythe major facilities and equipment requirements for the departmentand the property.
  • Ensure correct maintenance ofall equipment in conjunction with the other user departments& stay abreast with technological advances in surveillance& safety of theequipment.

 

PeopleManagement

 

  • Establishand maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of ibis Nashik to ensuremaximum cooperation productivity morale and guestservice.
  • Provide effective support to the teamto enable them to deliver effective and efficientservices.
  • Respond to customer queries byresolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensurecustomer satisfaction.
  • Motivate and developstaff to ensure smooth functioning of thedepartment.
  • Ensure thatthe team is trained in all safetyprovisions.

 

 

FinancialManagement

 

  • Ensureoptimal cost effective use of the resources and educate the team onthesame.

 

OperationalManagement

 

  • Coordinatewith the Purchasing department to obtain the relevant data floatinquiries and quotations.
  • Supervise the upkeepof all plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Checkand inspect all machinery and otherequipment.
  • Check for maintenance and upkeep ofrecords and statements.
  • Prepare dutyroster.
  • Check and ensure preventive and routinemaintenance of all equipment.
  • Ensure that thecompany has a technological advantage by constant upgradation oftheequipment.
