Primary
Purpose: The IT Emergency
Incident Manager is tasked with the rapid and effective handling of major IT
incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The role exists
to provide immediate response solutions during critical IT emergencies,
safeguarding company assets and maintaining service continuity.



Key
Activities:



·    
Establish
and lead the emergency incident response team.



·    
Develop
and implement emergency response plans and procedures.



·    
Coordinate
with IT teams to resolve incidents swiftly and efficiently.



·    
Conduct
post-incident analysis to prevent future emergencies



Key

Incident
Response: Take charge during
major IT incidents to ensure quick resolution.



·      
Team
Coordination: Mobilize
and manage the incident response team and relevant IT personnel.



·      
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact
for all communications during an emergency incident.



·      
Documentation: Keep detailed records of incidents,
actions taken, and resolutions.



·      
Training: Conduct regular training exercises with
the incident response team.



·      
Continuous
Improvement: Review
and improve emergency response processes based on incident feedback



 



Job requirements and
qualifications:



·    
Education: Bachelor's
degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.



·    
Experience: Minimum
of 5 years of experience in IT incident management or a related field.



·    
Certifications: Certifications
in Incident Management, such as ITIL, are preferred.



·    
Skills:





  • Excellent
    leadership and crisis management skills.
  • Strong
    communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient
    in incident management software and tools.
  • Ability
    to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
