The Business SegmentNew Energy Business (SE NEB) develops, manufactures and sells innovativeHydrogen and Power-to-X systems, solutions and services based on the SILYZERportfolio. With this innovative electrochemical system, water is split into itscomponents hydrogen H2 and oxygen O2 using the PEM (Proton Exchange membrane)and (green) electricity. You can set the tone for this new business and contributeyour enthusiasm and experience in a small, pragmatic team with globalresponsibility for hydrogen projects.

The Project Engineering Manager takes ownership for theprofessional management of all relevant engineering discipline in proposals andprojects execution throughout the life of the project serving customers andfollowing related contracts. He is responsible for scope management, provisionof technical specifications and documentation, BoQs, change management,quality, EHS, risk & opportunities, time schedule and progress reporting.He follows Siemens Energy processes, workflows and guidelines.

Preparation of technical bid and coordination of all necessaryinterfaces (e.g. component and balance of plant integration) to ensure thatcustomer specifications are fulfilled, and exclusions are justified Responsible for budget, time schedule, quality and costoptimization for all engineering disciplines during project execution Active management of internal and external engineering partners Responsible for identifying technical deviations between standardand project scope to ensure quality of deliverables Provision of support and guidance to the team for system &equipment design, development of data sheets, P&IDs and I&Cspecification and definition of process guarantees Ensuring design guidelines and relevant engineering codes andstandards Responsible for technical clarification with customer, vendorengineering and release of RFQs (purchasing specifications) for system andcomponents such as pumps, water treatment, cooling system etc. Responsible for data and document management and technical customerdocumentation Support in HAZOP, risk assessment and SIL study for various subsystems Erection and Commissioning support

•The successful completion of a master'sdegree in process engineering or related engineering areas is available

•Intensiveworking experience in engineering or other technical functions and ability todeal with the interface requirements of partners

•Knowledge ofcodes and standards – DIN/ ASME / API / ANSI / NEMA / NPFA etc.

•Expertise in thefield of operational concepts, I&C systems and DCS specifications

•Commissioningexperience and basic knowledge in fact finding, test definition,troubleshooting & plant performance evaluation

•Competencies inengineering tools such as COMOS and deep understanding about P&IDs methodology,valve and heat exchanger design, gas metering and analysis and water chemistry(incl. sampling & dosing)

•Organizationalskills and knowledge as well as experience in practicing state-of-the-artproject management methods

•Gooddecision-making skills and independent working capability

•Team work &collaboration capabilities including communication skills

•Interculturalsensitivity and willingness to travel

•Fluent knowledgeof English & German

•Great passionfor the area of energy transition and decarbonization
