Head -Marketing and Demand Generation - SaaS

ConvergePoint () is looking for an individual who will be responsible for the strategic marketing and demand generation efforts of the company and will be responsible for managing the entire marketing team in Chennai. The role will report to the CEO of the company.
Job Description
- Take ownership for revenue and demand generation, product marketing and content marketing
- Plan, manage and execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Lead B2B enterprise marketing as well as Demand Generation and build in-house Product and
Creative teams - Develop B2B marketing programs that accelerate the sales cycle by gaining a deep understanding of
the customer buyer journey - Instill best practices marketing processes including the identification and implementation of key
measurements and KPIs to demonstrate marketing effectiveness and ROI, delivering accountability
and transparency in reporting across the organization - Lead the product marketing and go to market efforts for the company
- Identify digital marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation, both online and offline.
- Hire and build the team from the ground up. Be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, leading, and
retaining a high-quality marketing team.
Desired Skills
- Will be responsible for the strategic direction of the marketing efforts of the company
- Must have experience in the SaaS Product industry.
- Must have experience in growth marketing.
- Must be entrepreneurial and be able to work in a startup environment.
- Must have at least 15 years of marketing experience. An MBA in Marketing is preferred.
- Have experience managing and growing a marketing team of 10 20 people
- Must have had experience handling a budget
- Be extremely familiar with marketing automation (HubSpot), content marketing, product marketing
and all aspects of digital and online marketing including PPC SEO add social media marketing - Must be familiar with website management
- Be responsible for all collateral and creative design
- Be able to work with vendors and other external resources
- Experience organizing webinars and third party online events
- Must have experience working with vendors PR, videos etc
