Senior Engineer - PCB Design (CADENCE)

Thales India Engineering Competency Center in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Engineer role. In this role you will be responsible for generating Printed board system for RADARs and other Defense products to meet the customer requirements as well as governing regulatory standards (UL, CE, MIL-STD, DO-160 etc.). You also perform trade analysis of design approaches, engineering simulations & modeling

Qualifications: B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical engineering or equivalent with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Working experience in RADARs, Avionics and Defense systems design is desirable

Technical Skills and Competencies:

Must have advanced training in electronics with experience of more than 5 years in the electronic design office

Must master electronic CAD tools, PCB Layout, signal integrity analyses, preferably CADENCE/Allegro or equivalent MENTOR.

Must be familiar with mechatronic system architectures with mixed RF / analog / digital boards and have knowledge of materials, technologies and industrial processes for producing printed boards and components packaging.

Must have an experience of thermal, mechanical, EMC constraints to be taken account in PCB and PCBA design

Must be strong proposal, rigorous, and like to work in a team.

Must have experience in the analysis of specifications

Must have experience in solutions proposals on interconnections, wiring, components packaging and printed circuit boards

Must have experience with contents of Product Data Package (Data files, Bill of Material or Item List, Item, Documents, components, COTS, Find Number, Material & Processes Item, etc.)

Should have experience in airborne environment (thermal, EMC, ..)

Should have system thinking knowledge and analyze the problems in finding the root cause and brings innovative ideas

Should have experience of working with multi-disciplinary team (Electronics design, Mechanical design and System engineering teams).
