Title:Technical Writer III
Location:Remote

Description:

In thisrole your key responsibilities will include acceptingresponsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of documentationwriting highquality technical content that effectively communicatescomplex information clearly and concisely and coordinating closelywith other members of the writing team to ensure consistency indetail style and presentation. You will also take responsibilityfor the documentation part of the user experience and proactivelyaddress challenges both individually and as part of theteam.
Responsibilities of the role:

  • Update existing documentation to reflect new featuresenhancements and changes to the platform.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams includingEngineering and Product Management to ensure accuracy andcompleteness in technical documentation.
  • Workclosely with the other members of the writing team to ensureconsistency in detail style and presentation.
  • Write highquality technical content that effectivelycommunicates complex information clearly
    concisely andwithout jargon


Therequired qualifications for this position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a TechnicalWriter
  • Excellent English writingskills
  • Experience in documenting public cloudproducts.
  • Proficiency in using Oxygen XMLAuthor or a similar product to create documentation inDITA.
  • Experience managing documentation usingGit and GitHub.
  • A BA degree in TechnicalWriting English Journalism or a related writingorientedfield.
