Description

Job Role: QA Lead

Requirements:

●8+ years of experience working on data and analytics.

●Experience in working in large scale traditional or cloud-based Enterprise EDW QA environments

●Experience leading a QA team of 4-5 associates and driving best practices and standards across the team.

●Expertise in the creation of Test Automation frameworks using scripting (. Java, Python)

●5+ years of hands-on testing experience in working large scale traditional and cloud-based data warehouse environments and leading a QA team to work with client stakeholders.

●Knowledge of cloud data warehouses and related concepts on latest technologies from a QA standpoint would be beneficial

●Expertise in writing SQL queries and should be able to translate ETL login to SQL.

●Should possess excellent SQL skills and should be familiar with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server).

●Knowledge of cloud data warehouses is good to have.

●Experience with conducting and running data defect triage meeting with project teams

●Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL technologies.

●Candidates should be aware of the standards and best practices that are usually driven by the Quality Management Organization and should have worked on implementing them across projects.

●Strong communication skills are a must for this role. Candidates should be able to interact and communicate with the client stakeholders and business team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

●Candidates should be able to work on various testing phases including delivering effective testing strategies and testing artifacts like Test Plans, Test Cases, Execution Reports etc.

●Communicate with the client managers and business teams on timelines.

●Develop test plans, test cases and engineering best practices related to software test engineering, both manual and automated testing

●Experience in creating Test Automation scripts/frameworks using programming languages like Python and SQL

●Identify gaps in the quality assurance and testing processes, generate solutions, and drive iterative improvement

●Conducting data defect triage meeting with project teams

●Be part of the community of practice for QA across the organization and collaborate with QA engineers and analysts

●Lead the implementation of best practices within the team and work with the client stakeholders.
