Position: QA Lead


Experience: 8-12 Years


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the Quality Assurance (QA ) efforts for the project team.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide team members in QA best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Conduct thorough testing of web applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Write and execute automated test scripts using Java Selenium and JavaScript (knowledge of Python is a plus).
  • Utilize BDD Cucumbe r and Page Object Model for efficient testing.
  • Perform DB testing and write advanced complex SQL queries.
  • Automate Rest API testing .
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation strategies using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and Azure DevOps.
  • Provide leadership in building a culture of quality within the team.
  • Handle team management responsibilities as required.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in Java Selenium and JavaScript; familiarity with Python is desirable.
  • Experience with BDD Cucumber, Page Object Model, and DB testing.
  • Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience in automating Rest API testing.
  • Proven track record of implementing CI/CD automation using Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
