Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within urban infrastructure.
- Analyze market needs, potential clients, and project requirements to create targeted business strategies.
Business Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to generate leads and secure new urban infrastructure projects.
- Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to establish and nurture relationships.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and bids to win projects.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to define business objectives and develop strategic plans to achieve them.
- Identify key growth areas and recommend strategies for market penetration and expansion.
Project Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of project proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the business development and project lifecycle.
Networking and Industry Representation:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and establish connections.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively position the company in the market.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, project status, and market trends for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project progress, and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the urban infrastructure sector.
Additional Information
- Strong understanding of urban infrastructure projects, including transportation, utilities, and public facilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of successful project acquisition and client management.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic business plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
