The MAKO-Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices and Retail. The primary objective of the QS organization is to provide manual testing support.

Key job responsibilities
Tracks project deliverables, highlights risk and deviations to stakeholders and team, comes up with preventive and corrective actions for the same.
Guides/mentors and trains DAs in all the aspects of the product.
Participates in release planning activities and ensures his/her project is delivered within the agreed timeline and is responsible for quality of deliverable.
Stays abreast to all the new features that are being pushed to regression and has a complete understanding of all the features in the product line.
Highlights gaps in process to identify areas of improvement in process and in tools. Identifies process improvements and puts appropriate action plans
Highlights resource constraints & contentions and works towards resolving the same.
Responsible for having all the hardware, software and other infrastructure needed for day-to-day operations and escalate it to management when there is a need.
Works with multiple stakeholders within and outside the organization. Works with multiple managers within the project, within the organization and with multiple stakeholders.

MAKO Quality team helps to deliver high-quality products and services to our internal (MAKO Tech & Business teams) and external customers. We strive to build tools and services to measure software quality and improve it continuously.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BE, BTech, BS in Computer Science, Master of computer Applications (MCA), MSc Information Technology (IT)
Relevant QA experience preferably in a quantitative field of study with relevant exp of 2 - 3 years Knowledge of QA methodology
Ability to understand technical specifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications - BE / BTech in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
Significant experience to developing manual test strategies and also understand automation scripts.
Significant work history showing aptitude for project management and QA methodology
Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Competence in all technical skills needed to document and troubleshoot errors
Experience and familiarity with test management software
Critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
