Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Expert with 5+ years of practical experience in testing web and mobile applications. The candidate will ensure adherence to accessibility laws and standards, using a variety of accessibility tools to perform comprehensive testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough accessibility audits of digital products, including websites and native mobile apps, to identify and document accessibility barriers
- Utilize accessibility testing tools like AXE, AMP, JAWS, NVDA, and others to validate compliance
- Perform manual testing to ensure accessibility beyond what automated tools can detect
- Work closely with development teams to address and remediate identified accessibility issues

Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of global accessibility laws and regulations, including ADA, Section 508, and other relevant standards
- Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 A & AA success criteria, with the ability to apply these during accessibility evaluations
- Proven ability to conduct thorough accessibility testing of web applications, ensuring compliance with WCAG (2.1/2.2) standards. Candidates will be tested on this during the interview
- Expert proficiency with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and other commonly used tools
- Familiarity with automated accessibility testing tools such as AXE and AMP to complement manual testing efforts
- Experience using color contrast analysis tools, such as Color Contrast Analyzer, to evaluate visual accessibility
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, ARIA roles, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively with development teams
- Experience tracking, documenting, and reporting accessibility issues in JIRA, with a strong focus on issue resolution
- Staying up to date on accessibility best practices, guidelines, and trends in assistive technologies
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex accessibility issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Mobile accessibility testing knowledge is a plus
