Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have around 1-2 years of experience in software testing and a proven track record of success in software quality assurance. They will have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as hands-on experience with automated testing tools and SQL scripting.
You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Additionally, you will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, and design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
Your responsibilities will also include identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs, performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs, liaising with internal teams to identify system requirements, monitoring debugging process results, investigating the causes of non-conforming software, and training users to implement solutions.
Moreover, you will track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Around 1-2 years of experience in software testing
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and SQL scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
