Overview:TheStore Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the dailyoperations of the store ensuring exceptional customer service anddriving sales to meet and exceed targets. They are responsible formanaging a team maintaining inventory and creating a positive andproductive work environment. The Store Manager is essential inupholding the stores brand image and ensuring the overall successof the business.Keyresponsibilities:
  • Developand implement strategies to maximize sales and achievetargets
  • Manage and motivate a team to deliverexcellent customer service and meet salesgoals
  • Oversee inventory management and ensureaccurate stock levels
  • Monitor and analyze salesperformance implementing corrective actions asneeded
  • Maintain store appearance andmerchandising standards
  • Create and maintain apositive work environment for all teammembers
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries andcomplaints
  • Conduct regular performanceevaluations and provide constructive feedback to teammembers
  • Manage store expenses and maintainbudgetary control
  • Coordinate with head officeand other departments as necessary
  • Ensurecompliance with company policies andprocedures
  • Participate in recruitment trainingand development of staff
  • Implement marketingand promotional activities to drivesales
  • Adhere to all health and safetyregulations
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration or relevantfield
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager orsimilar managerial role
  • Demonstrated ability tolead and develop a highperforming team
  • Strongunderstanding of retail operations and financialmanagement
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze salesreports and identify opportunities forgrowth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and pointof sale (POS) systems
  • Knowledge of inventorymanagement and merchandisingtechniques
  • Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Flexibility to work variousshifts including weekends and holidays
  • Proventrack record of meeting and exceeding salestargets
  • Ability to handle stressful situationswith professionalism
  • Relevant certifications inretail management or leadership aplus
  • Understanding of customer serviceprinciples and practices
  • Knowledge of laborlaws and HRpractices
