JobSummary:
We are seeking a highlyskilled CAD/CAM/SolidWorks Design Engineer with expertise indesigning special purpose machines tools and fixtures. The idealcandidate will be responsible for creating detailed technicaldrawings and models using CAD software optimising designs forperformance and manufacturability and collaborating withcrossfunctional teams to ensure project success. This role requiresstrong problemsolving abilities a deep understanding of engineeringprinciples and proficiency in CAD/CAM tools particularlySolidWorks.

KeyResponsibilities:
1. Design anddevelop special purpose machines tools and fixtures to meet projectrequirements andspecifications.
2. UtilizeSolidWorks and other CAD software to create 3D models and detailedengineering drawings for components andassemblies.
3. Collaborate withmechanical engineers manufacturing teams and project managers tounderstand design objectives andconstraints.
4. Conductfeasibility studies and analysis to evaluate design conceptsincluding stress analysis tolerance stackup analysis and dynamicsimulations.
5. Optimize designsfor performance reliability and costeffectiveness while adhering toindustry standards andregulations.
6. Generate Bills ofMaterials (BOMs) specifications and documentation necessary formanufacturing and assemblyprocesses.
7. Prototype and testdesigns to validate performance and functionality making necessarymodifications as required.
8.Provide technical support during the manufacturing assembly andtesting phases addressing any designrelated issues that mayarise.
9. Stay updated onadvancements in CAD/CAM technology industry trends and bestpractices to improve design processes continuously andmethodologies.
10. Participate indesign reviews brainstorming sessions and crossfunctional meetingsto contribute innovative ideas andsolutions.

RequirementsRequirements:
1.Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Masters degree preferred.
2.Proven experience (X years) as a CAD/CAM/SolidWorks Design Engineerpreferably in the design of special purpose machines tools orfixtures.
3. Proficiency in CADsoftware particularly SolidWorks with a strong understanding ofgeometric dimensioning and tolerance(GD&T).
4. Solid grasp ofengineering principles including mechanics materials science andmanufacturing processes.
5.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) computational fluiddynamics (CFD) and other simulation tools isdesirable.
6. Strongproblemsolving skills and the ability to analyse complex technicalissues and propose effectivesolutions.
7. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocollaborate effectively with multidisciplinaryteams.
8. Detailoriented with afocus on quality and accuracy in designwork.
9. Ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectivelyto meet deadlines.
10. Familiaritywith project management methodologies and tools is aplus.

A total of 3 to 5 years of work experience is a must. Must be BE -Mechanical Engineering with First Class Must have expertise inworking on Machine Design, Tooling Design and Factory ApplicationsBuild Certified CAD / CAM Engineer Ansys Expertise is preferredCertified Solid Works Engineer Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Commercial awareness Excellent technicalskills, including computer-aid design experience. The ability towork under pressure. Problem-solving skills. Creativity.
