Job Overview

We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at DCS Group, an Educational and Career Consulting services company. As a Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our plant in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. This is a full-time position with mid-level experience required (4 to 6 years).

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in the Foundry & Casting industry.
• Proven expertise in plant maintenance and familiarity with maintenance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of production and quality control processes, with the ability to address issues promptly.
• B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the plant.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address maintenance-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment repairs and replacements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and performance.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.

Job Responsibilities :

Develop and implement maintenance procedures for various types of equipment and machinery.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.

Coordinate and execute repairs to minimize downtime and production losses.

Work closely with other departments, such as production and quality control, to address issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Document equipment specifications, manuals, and maintenance procedures.

Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and manage maintenance activities.
