About theRole: We are seeking a skilledand enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with at least one year ofexperience to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer at ourcompany you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancingour cloud infrastructure primarily focusing on AWS. Yourresponsibilities will include automating deployments managingapplication versions and ensuring the high availability andreliability of ourservices.
KeyResponsibilities: AWSManagement: Comfortably work with various AWS services to deploymanage and operate scalable highly available and faulttolerantsystems.Automation & Deployment:Automate deployment processes ensuring seamless and consistentdelivery of applications to the cloudenvironment.Version Control: Proficient inGit manage code versions and maintain a streamlined workflow forcode integration and deployment.Backups& Restoration: Responsible for the creation management andtesting of backups; adept in restoring applications in case offailures or data loss.Monitoring &Maintenance: Continuously monitor the health of applicationspromptly addressing any issues and optimizingperformance.Collaboration: Work closely withthe development team to integrate new features and ensurecontinuous delivery and deployment are smooth andefficient.Documentation: Document allprocesses including setup backup recovery procedures andoperational bestpractices.
RequiredSkills &Qualifications: Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience in a DevOpsrole.Education: Bachelor s degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
TechnicalSkills: Proficient in AWScloud services.Strong understanding of Gitand version control systems.Experience inautomated deployments and continuousintegration/delivery.Familiarity withscripting languages (e.g. PythonBash).Problemsolving: Excellentproblemsolving and troubleshootingskills.Communication: Strong communicationskills and the ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
PreferredSkills: Certifications in AWSor other cloud platforms.Experience withcontainerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. DockerKubernetes).Knowledge of infrastructure ascode (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
