Summary

Developer. In this role you will be responsiblefor designing and developing enhancements
to softwareapplications with a primary focus on IBM DB2 integration. As a keymember of
the IT development team you are expected to bea highlevel technical expert in coding
testingsupporting and debugging projects related to IBM DB2.
Your role in our mission

Develop andmaintain robust batch applications with a strong emphasis onIBM
DB2 integration.
Conduct systems analysissystems design application development unit testing
integration testing and preparation for deployment ensuringtechnical
documentation and application support arecomprehensive.
Independently analyze solve and correctrealtime issues related to IBM DB2
providing endtoendproblem resolution.
Generate complete technicaldocumentation covering analysis design development
andtesting phases along with any required userdocumentation.
Collaborate in the design and developmentof application systems integrating
technologies such asIBM DB2.
Conduct performance tuning of processes in apartitioned database environment
adhering to IBM DB2development standards and best practices.
Review work ofother team members for accuracy adherence to standardsand
optimization.
Provide applicationlevelproduction support including maintenance of all IBM DB2
processes.
Develop shell scripts for parallel executionof processes on IBM DB2.
What we're lookingfor

Proven work experience as a developerwith a strong focus on IBM DB2 in software
design anddevelopment.
Indepth knowledge of IBM DB2architecture.
Handson experience with Unix/Linux shellscripting and strong SQL and Stored
Proceduresskills.
Demonstrated successful delivery of complexprojects.
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills with the ability to effectively
communicate withpeers and the onsite team.
Strong attention to detailorganizational skills and timeliness to meet customer
service expectations.
Effective problemsolvingskills.
Bachelors Degree or relatedexperience.
5 years of experience as a developer withroles of increasing responsibility and
complexityspecifically focusing on IBM DB2 integration.
