JR53559 Field Application Engineer - Industrial/Embedded (New Delhi)

Responsibilities and Tasks: Responsibilities

Work with customer to attain design in/wins and qualification of Micron memory products in their applications. Provide technical support to customers and the field sales force. Support includes applications advice, product recommendations, and technical problem resolution. Visit and/or contact customers to determine their needs for new products and/or features. Work with marketing/design engineering to determine the feasibility of specific new products and generate design objectives in the form of functional specifications. Provide product training to the field sales force, distribution sales people and customers Work with QA and marketing to review and respond to product specifications and technical questionnaires submitted by customers. Identify and communicate the need Marketing Communication literature (, product guides, cross references, advertisements, etc.).

Experience & Qualifications include, but not limited to :

Minimum of ~10 years sales experience in semiconductors, ideally in IT Hardware channel, PC hardware ecosystem and or Memory & Storage industry Experience working with manufacturer representatives and distributors in the IT/PC hardware channel segment. Candidate should have prior sales experience of managing channel sales, local OEMs, SI & VARs in the PC hardware ecosystem. Experience of selling to strategic enterprise and corporate clients and working with Key SI and VARs covering storage solutions across India. Strong relationship building and clear communication skills. Job requires travel frequently on business and regular in city local travel.

Education : BE/BTech in EE/EC or equivalent degree
