Jobpurpose:
The purposeof the Travel Product Manager role is to enhance the companystravel offerings by strategically sourcing negotiating and managingrelationships with various travel suppliers including hotelsairlines and other service providers.

Therole is pivotal in ensuring competitive pricing highquality serviceand innovative product features to meet and exceed customerexpectations.
The Travel ProductManager will be responsible for optimizing backend operations andworkflows to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery whilealso maintaining regulatory compliance and industry standards.


JobSummary:
As a TravelProduct Manager at our client you will take charge of developingand managing our travel products portfolio by establishing strongpartnerships with travel suppliers and service providers.
Your role involves a deepunderstanding of the travel market dynamics direct negotiationswith suppliers to secure the best rates and terms and ensuring acompetitive edge for our offerings. You will play a critical rolein defining the operational processes that underpin a superiorcustomer experience from booking to the completion of travel.Collaborating with various internal teams you will driveenhancements in our travel products aiming for higher customerconversion rates and retention through continuous innovation andimprovement.
Yourresponsibilities will also include staying abreast of industrytrends and competitor strategies ensuring our travel productsremain bestinclass. The role demands a blend of strategic visionoperational excellence and a customercentric approach to drive theoverall success of our travelofferings.

Keyresponsibilities:

Identify negotiate and onboardtravel suppliers (hotels airlines transfers activities holidaypackages etc.) direct contracting with hotels Airline NDC faresInsurance companies payment gateway partners and other suchsuppliers.
Suppliers can be GDStravel aggregators DMCs or even directly with partners
Manage and ascertain IATAaccreditation for company
Getthe best commercial terms including extended credit period whereverpossible
Make sure that supplieris fully compliant with government and financial regulations
Ensure proper contracting isclosed with well defined SLAs incentives and penalties and offermilestones
Coordination withsuppliers for matters requiring escalation or attention
Responsible for industry andcompetition tracking o Rate parity and benchmarking o Identifyimproved service providers and onboarding them o Identify trends incustomer workflows and onboarding and adopt best practices in those
Responsible for contractingpayment gateways and ensuring their service delivery
Analyzing financial performancedata across bookings suppliers etc to ensure margin optimizationacross suppliers.
Coordinatewith multiple stakeholders internally at CC for constantlyenhancing user experience and revenue generation from the platformincluding providing new business requirements / user stories etc.
Responsible for ensuring a highquality user experience and driving the travel product strategy.
Act as a bridge betweentechnical and nontechnical stakeholders by ensuring the technicalfeature development and strategy are scoped to satisfy the shortand longterm needs of the business.
Play an active role in testingout new features / functionalities as a businessuser

RequirementsKeySkills:
1. Negotiationand Contracting Skills: Ability to negotiate favourable terms withtravel suppliers including hotels and airlines and to finalizecontracts with clear SLAs incentives and penalties.
2. Supplier RelationshipManagement: Proficient in managing relationships with varioustravel suppliers including GDS travel aggregators DMCs and directpartners.
3. RegulatoryCompliance: Knowledge of relevant government and financialregulations affecting the travel industry including IATAaccreditation.
4. AnalyticalSkills: Capable of analyzing financial performance data to optimizemargins across suppliers and improve operational efficiency.
5. Project Management: Strongproject management skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholdersmanage timelines and ensure the successful delivery of travelproducts and features.
6.Customer Experience Focus: A strong focus on delivering highqualityuser experiences and the ability to identify and implementimprovements in customer workflows and interfaces.
7. Innovation and Trend Analysis:Keen ability to scan the competitive landscape identify trends andinnovate to maintain and enhance the competitiveness of LCofferings.
8. Technical Liaison:Ability to act as an intermediary between technical andnontechnical stakeholders ensuring that technical developmentsalign with businessneeds

ExperienceRequirements:
1.Industry Experience: Proven experience in the travel industryparticularly in product management supplier management or a relatedfield.
2. Supplier Negotiation:Demonstrated experience in negotiating and contracting with travelsuppliers including direct contracting with hotels and airlines.
3. Product Development:Experience in identifying testing and rolling out new features orfunctions to improve the product and operational efficiency.
4. Stakeholder Management:Experience working with multiple stakeholders within anorganization to drive product strategy and improve customerconversion andretention

1. Supplier Acquisition andManagement: Number of new suppliers onboarded quality of supplierrelationships and compliance with SLAs.
2. Commercial Terms Improvement:Improvement in commercial terms with suppliers including discountsextended credit periods and marginoptimization.
3. CustomerExperience Metrics: Customer satisfaction scores customerconversion rates and customer retention rates.
4. Operational Efficiency:Reduction in manual processes through automation decreasedtimetoresolution for customer and supplier issues and overallimprovement in backend operational workflows.
