JobDescription Take charge of overseeing anddirecting the Instructional Design (ID) team atEnthralltech.
  • Stay abreast ofemerging technologies trends and best practices to maintain thecompetence and competitiveness of the IDfunction.
  • Ensure the continuous refinement andoptimization of the ID function and team ensuring the right blendof team members.
Spearhead thelearning and instructional design and development of digitallearning content focusing primarily on corporate and workforcetraining with potential extensions to educational content andEdTech.
  • Collaborate effectively withinternal teams external partners subject matter experts (SMEs)client representatives and otherstakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough requirementanalysis for each project collaborating seamlessly with other teamfunctions to formulate optimal solutions aligned with businessneeds.
Establish systematicprocesses templates and standards/guidelines to instil aprocessdriven approach within the Instructional Design (ID)function. Monitor and report the utilizationof resources within the Instructional Design (ID) function strivingfor optimal output while maintaining the necessary qualitystandards.Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)
  1. Quality of LearningDesign/Instructional DesignSolutions:
  • Focus onensuring highquality learning design solutions and output from theInstructional Designteam.
  1. Effort Utilizationof the ID Team:
  • Prioritizeefficient utilization of resources within the Instructional Designteam to maximizeproductivity.
  1. Initiativesin Adopting Recent Technologies/Trends and BestPractices:
  • Driveinitiatives to incorporate and stay updated on recent technologiestrends and best practices within thefield.
  1. ProjectspecificSuccess Metrics:
  • Achievesuccess in projects by meeting or exceeding expectations for outputquality while adhering to budgeted efforts in the InstructionalDesigndomain.
  1. Collaboration andTeamPlayerAptitude:
  • Foster acollaborative work environment by being a team player contributingpositively to team dynamics and effectively handling challenging orhighpressuresituations.
QualificationsRequired:A bachelors or masters degree in Instructional Design AdultEducation Learning and Development or a relatedfield. Extensive experience in instructionaldesign for corporate training with a proven track record ofdeveloping effective training programs.Previous leadership or management experience within a corporatetraining or eLearning setting. Familiaritywith corporate training trends methodologies and bestpractices. Experience in managing andmentoring instructional designers and other teammembers.Preferred: Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate StorylineRise Adobe Captivate) and other relevant technologies used incorporate training.
