Job Description

Looking for a Microsoft Azure Expert with extensive experience in delivering high quality applications.

Experience

5-10 years

Desirable experience

•Azure Resource Management: Assisting in the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. This includes provisioning resources, setting up virtual networks, managing security groups, and ensuring resource availability.

•User and Group Management: Creating and managing user accounts and groups within Azure AD. This includes adding, modifying, and removing user accounts, assigning roles and permissions, and maintaining user directory attributes.

•Identity and Access Management: Helping to configure and maintain Azure AD authentication methods, such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO). Ensuring secure access to Azure resources and applications.

•Azure AD Connect: Assisting in the setup and management of Azure AD Connect, which integrates on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD, ensuring consistent identity synchronization.

•Security and Compliance: Collaborating on security-related tasks, such as configuring security policies, monitoring access logs, and assisting in compliance audits to ensure Azure resources meet industry standards.

•Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Participating in monitoring the health and performance of Azure resources and Azure AD. Identifying and addressing issues related to resource availability, performance, and access.

•Backup and Recovery: Assisting in the implementation of backup and recovery strategies for Azure resources and Azure AD data. Ensuring data integrity and availability in case of data loss or disasters.

•Azure Cost Management: Supporting cost optimization efforts by monitoring resource usage, identifying unused resources, and assisting in rightsizing deployments.

•Documentation: Maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to Azure and Azure AD administration. This documentation helps ensure consistency and aids in troubleshooting.

•Collaboration: Working with Level 2 and Level 3 administrators, as well as cross-functional teams, to resolve complex issues and implement improvements within the Azure environment.

•Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date with the latest Azure features, updates, and best practices to enhance skills and contribute effectively to the organization’s cloud strategy.
