Requisites

Education: B.E. or equivalent

Experience (years): 2+yrs - SSE & 7+ yrs Lead Software Engineer.

Industry / Technology background: Web and Mobile Technologies

Location: Mumbai

Working Hours: 09:30 – 18:00

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic a very experienced senior Ionic & Angular developer with strong hands-on experience in the latest versions. He should have at least 2+ years’ hands-on experience in responsive front-end development using Ionic and Angular, CSS3/SCSS, HTML5 and JavaScript/typescript.

You will be working within a professional software development team primarily focused on developing enterprise scale applications for use by our local government and housing association sector customers.

This is a unique and exciting development opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work closely with the technical architect from project inception.

 

Qualification Criteria/Work Experience

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience in mobile app and responsive web app development using Ionic( 3+ version ) Angular(2+ version) Currently we using angular 7 and version 4 for Ionic.
  • Experience with SQLite embedded databases
  • CSS/SCSS, HTML5 and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience working withing an Agile environment with an understanding of TDD, BDD and DDD
  • A good understanding of how large-scale enterprise systems work
  • Integration with REST API’s
  • Passion for web and mobile application development
  • Excellent knowledge of design principles and UI best practices
  • Offline data storage, encryption and data synchronisation strategies 
  • Solid Object Orientated Programming skills
  • Source control tools (e.g. GIT, SVN, PVCS)
  •  

Desirable:

  • Push notifications (GCM, APN, FCM etc.)
  • Experience with message brokers e.g. RabbitMQ
  • Experience designing and building back-end web services
  • NoSQL databases such as CouchDB and Firebase Realtime Database
  • Working in design, deployment and maintenance of back-end databases (PostgreSQL / SQL Server / MySQL/)
  • Exp in Spring Java/SpringBoot
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methods (Scrum / Kanban etc.)
  • Experience with Agile Development tooling (e.g. Jira)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Experience using and scripting for automated testing frameworks

 

Overall Project/Task description

Working in an Agile team environment with product experts, business analysts, testers and other skilled engineers, to deliver enterprise scale mobile and web application solutions.

 

  • Undertake software analysis, design, development, and unit testing
  • Able to independently deliver complex screens built in Ionic & Angular also able to assist junior team members and review their work.
  • Strong problem solving skills in complex systems especially in Ionic & Angular development
  • Provide technical assistance to QA
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Able to work in a large development team and able work with leads in integrated development environment.
  • Good time-management skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
