Are you a passionate Software Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the world of High-Frequency Trading (HFT)? Join My Client's dynamic team, a leading European Proprietary Trader who have recently expanded their operations to India

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: India

What would you be engaged in ?

As one of the First Engineers on the ground, you will collaborate with fellow Engineers, Traders, and Researchers to develop a deep understanding of trading, exchanges and what the 'machine' is doing. Your challenge is to further innovate and maintain the foundation underlying our wider infrastructure. Your other responsibilities will depend on what team you go into, but as a Senior Engineer you also will be involved with:

1. Designing and developing high-performance, low-latency trading systems using C++.2. Implementing and optimizing algorithmic trading strategies in collaboration with traders and quantitative analysts.3. Building and maintaining robust software infrastructure for real-time market data processing and order execution.4. Conducting thorough code reviews and ensuring code quality and reliability.5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize trading algorithms and systems.6. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance our trading platforms.

Who are they looking for ?

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.- A solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals like operating systems, data structures and algorithms.- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language; Next to C++, they also extensively use Python, C#, and other languages, you are therefore expected to be willing and able to learn new languages quickly.- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming.- Experience building systems in the HFT space, in particular low-latency or real-time systems.- Proven ability to work through the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements, to testing and deployment.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
