Setting the overall level of manufacturing output (production plan) and other activities to best satisfy the current planned levels of sales forecasts, while meeting general business objectives of Profitability, Productivity, Customer lead times and Service levels in line the overall business plan and strategy for individual Polymer SBU#s (PP, PE, PVC)

Supply Network Planning & Optimization

·BUIntegration with Overall Petrochemical Integrated Planning Process with BusinessSpecific Inputs and Constraints for Optimized Plan

·Participatein the regular planning process based on the planning calendar in APO

·Coordinatewith Plants and RTG for Production Constraints

·Coordinatewith Upstream Business for Feedstock Availability and schedule for downstreamplanning

·Analysis& Simulations for What ifs and changes in Demand/ Supply Scenario ( In APOand Offline)

·Preparingmedium term Material Balance for Demand/ Supply scenarios for Domestic andExports coverage levels as key decision inputs

Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling

·MonthlyProduction Planning based on opening stock, Consensus Demand Received,substitute grades, Product Wheels & Target Safety Stock Levels

·RegularPlant Coordination: Plan vs Actuals deviations, Plant Constraint Updates fromFeedbacks, Process Order Conversion, Planning Master Data

·RegularCoordination with the BG, Demand Planning and Execution Teams for DynamicMarket Feedback for responsive and Optimal planning

·ProductionScheduling based critical Materials (e.g. Chemicals and catalysts) and feedstock availability

·RegularPlan Vs. Actual Review & necessary action with Simulation

·Finalization& publishing of the Production plan with BU and Plants and Update for Changes

·ManagingMaster Data including Process Orders for Plant Communication

Inventory Management and Control

·Implementingfor Optimized Inventory Strategy for Optimal inventory levels

·Managementof Safety Stock at plant/depot with objective Min Stock out & Sales Loss

·Depletionof ageing stock / slow moving grades.

Reporting and Analysis

·VarianceReporting # Customer, Sales and Product Variance

Business Analysis of various decision makingscenarios (Make Vs Buy, Produce Vs Not Produce e.t.c.

Education Requirement :

Necessary :

B. Tech/ B.E./ MBA

Desirable :

Diploma / Degree in SCM

Experience Requirement :

6-9 years of experience

Skills & Competencies :

Knowledgeof Domestic Logistics CustomerKnowledge EffectiveExecution Relationship Management
