PositionOverview: We areseeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Machinery Mechanic to join ourteam in Sahnewal Ludhiana Punjab. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for installing repairing and maintaining machinery andmechanical equipment within our pharmaceutical manufacturingfacility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring thecontinuous operation of our production processes by conductingpreventive maintenance and addressing equipment issuespromptly.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Installrepair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment inaccordance with preventive maintenanceschedules.
  • Observe mechanicaldevices in operation to identify sources of problems and dismantlemachinery to access and replace defectiveparts.
  • Inspect and measure variousinstruments to determine changes in partsrequirements.
  • Start up and shutdownmachinery as per production schedules to ensure smoothoperations.
  • Monitor equipment duringoperations to maintain plant stability safety andefficiency.
  • Regularly check andadjust operational parameters such as pressures temperature andflows to optimizeperformance.
  • Identify diagnose andtroubleshoot process or equipment issues to prevent inefficienciesor downtime.
  • Record and reportimportant information regarding plant performance andirregularities to supervisorystaff.
  • Conduct regular inspectionsand maintenance of machinery to uphold operational efficiency andsafety standards.
  • Ensure compliancewith all environmental regulations pertaining to the handling ofmaterials and operation of equipment including maintenance of airhandling units(AHUs).

Qualifications:

  • Educationin a related field (Mechanical Engineering Industrial Maintenanceetc.).
  • Proven experience of 23 yearsin maintenance of machinery within the pharmaceuticalindustry.
  • Familiarity withpreventive maintenance practices and troubleshootingtechniques.
  • Ability to read andinterpret technical manuals anddrawings.
  • Strong attention to detailand problemsolving skills.
  • Goodcommunication and teamworkabilities.
