Qualifications : CA with minimum experience of 6 years in the area of treasury 3 years

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Foreign Currency Risk Manager to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing foreign currency exposure, formulating and execution of hedge strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant RBI and FEMA guidelines. This role requires a deep understanding of global macro-economic events, foreign exchange risk management policies, accounting knowledge and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have knowledge and exposure in undermentioned key areas:

Foreign Currency Risk Management:-

Monitor the status of foreign currency exposure and related hedges. Tracking of global macro-economic events impacting currency movements, timely communication to senior management and formulation of hedge strategies to mitigate adverse currency movements, ensuring adherence to and compliance with approved FX risk management policies, internal guidelines. Execute hedges, settlement of daily foreign currency-related transactions in compliance with RBI and FEMA guidelines. Prepare and submit performance reports on FX exposure for submission to Senior Management on periodical basis. Maintenance of records of hedges, timely and accurate accounting including Mark to Market impact ensuring compliance with applicable IND AS.

Overview of Imports and related activities :-

Overview of import-related transactions (direct payments, LC, etc.) ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines. Overall compliance with RBI/FEMA guidelines, including the closure of IDPMS/EDPMS cases. Liaison with bankers to identify new developments in the area of trade and finance.

Overview of Liquidity and Cashflow Management :-

Overview of daily liquidity and cashflow related aspects to optimise idle funds. Overview of bank reconciliation activities to ensure the minimization of pending entries.

Others:-

Dealing with various internal and statutory auditors. Explore opportunities for digitization and automation to optimize processes. Experience of working with FX related tool like Reuter etc. Proficiency in financial software and tools related to FX risk management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with senior management, bankers, and auditors.
