JobDescription:
As a Security Exception and RiskEngineer you will implement tools analyze and escalate risk anddevelop scalable solutions to enhance Autodesks Security PolicyException (Trust Risk Acceptance) process. Your primaryresponsibility would be to lead our Trust Risk Acceptance process.This process includes daytoday activities like reviewing policyexception submissions determining risk providing guidance onremediation and assisting in implementing mitigating controls forSecurity Exceptions. If a risk cant be remediated or mitigated thenexceptions should be escalated to the appropriate level ofleadership for risk acceptance. On top of the daytoday operationsthis role will be responsible for delivering a security strategicinitiative project to revamp our policy exception process andtooling.

Responsibilitiesinclude:
  • Delivering onAutodesks Security Trust Risk Acceptance process revamp to reducerisk provide stronger security guidance to employees and provideriskbased reporting to leadership. This project reports to ourChief Security Officer.
  • Lead the Trust RiskAcceptance process by supporting daytoday operations of analyzingmitigating and escalating exceptions as needed.
  • Improve Autodesks ability to better protect itsenvironment through the design development and implementation ofsecurity analytics assessment and correlation and response systemsto effectively use Autodesks security investments.

Education &Experience
  • Bachelorsdegree (B.Tech) in computer science or related field or equivalentwork experience working in cybersecurity.
  • Thepreferred candidate will have 56 years experience ininfrastructure/network security with an overall experience of 710years.
  • Acceptable candidates will have 56years general cybersecurity risk (all are encouraged toapply).

Required Knowledge
  • The preferred candidate will understand how to assess theimpact from various risks along the NIST (National Institute ofStandards and Technology) Cybersecurity framework. This includesbut is not limited to:
  • The essentials ofcybersecurity tools such as endpoint protection vulnerabilitymanagement firewalls network segmentation. and infrastructuresecurity
  • How to create a threatmodel.
  • How control works to mitigaterisk.
  • Understand cloudbased technologies andhow to secure them.
  • An understanding of commoncriteria such as OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) top10.

SkillsDesired:
  • Excellentanalytical skills organizational skills ingenuity and the abilityto work as part of a team
  • Excellentcommunication skills and ability to deal with conflict and leadnegotiations.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills toeffectively promote ideas and collaboration at the various levelsof the organization
