As a Senior Technical Project Manager / Solution Architect, you will own the technical and operational relationship with local payment issuers and lead the technical scoping and integration of their payment solutions into our client’s platform. This role is pivotal to our success, requiring close collaboration with Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and Support Operations.

Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Technical Project Manager / Solution Architect in Mumbai, India will include:

  • Technical and Operational Leadership: Manage the technical and operational relationship with payment issuers and merchants. Lead technical reviews and integration of payment solutions, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to tight timelines.
  • Gap Analysis and Solution Design: Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and design solutions with payment issuers to meet technical and operational specifications.
  • Integration Management: Scope technical details, onboard and support new merchants, and manage integration projects from initiation to launch.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead project planning, create project plans, tasks, and schedules, and maintain effective communication of project updates.
  • Issue Resolution: Drive technical issues to resolution with urgency and focus, serving as an escalation point.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical inputs to support Business Development during the pre-sales phase.


Requirements

Requirements for this Senior Technical Project Manager / Solution Architect job in Mumbai, India:

  • Experience: 10-15 years of technical project management or technical pre-sales experience in a technical capacity, preferably within the payments industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the payments industry and experience integrating merchant/PSP with payment issuers. Experience in mobile app development and SDK integrations is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in integrating with third-party web services (e.g., REST, SOAP) and excellent SQL skills.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in delivering integration projects from concept to launch. Strong technical competency in software development practices and project management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills to gather insights from data and identify underlying issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Scrum/Agile development environment and manage ambiguity and changing deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong and effective project leadership, prioritization, and communication skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English in a business setting.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to get involved in day-to-day tasks to ensure project success.
