Job title: Assistant Manager-Controllership

Roles & Responsibilities (What you’ll do):

As an Assistant Manager, the person will be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of revenue, invoicing, collections and receivable accounting with complete control over reporting of financial and non-financial metrics within the SOX compliance framework. Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials Ensuring accuracy of numbers with respect to accounting and analysis Handling Internal audit, statutory audit, SOX audit and ICOFR compliance, etc. Working closely with Biz, tech and product teams to enable new streams and impact analysis of same Strong follow ups with stakeholders for the effective closure of open points/issues. Identifying and highlighting tech glitches on time to concerned teams and track for timely closure. Strengthening the Balance Sheet review process with more emphasis on aged balances Collaboration with business and biz fin teams to ensure smooth flow of operations Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the function to enhance efficiency and accuracy using RPA and other tech enablers Should be able to work with a large volume of data and in an evolving environment.

 What you’ll need:

Qualified CA with 3 to 4yrs of post qualification work experience Hands on exp in a controllership role (GL/ Account receivable/ Consolidation/ Statutory audit) Good to have experience in Power BI, oracle, SQL, Qlikview, Alteryx etc The knowledge of applicable taxes & GST compliances on revenue & receivable Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and business Capable of handling multiple projects at a time Exceptional communicator and Lucid thinker Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail. Experience in Ecommerce/FMCG is an added benefit.
