As a Product Analyst (Senior Associate) in our Card Data team, you will be responsible for managing product backlogs, understanding customer empathy, acting as a point of contact between product and development teams, collaborating for milestone planning, and meeting regularly with stakeholders. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage product backlog – Maintain and update epics, refine stories with the development teams, and prioritize work for upcoming sprints. Understand customer empathy – Understand the experiences, challenges, and needs of the customers of card data. Proactively reach out to listen to their stories and gather feedback. Act as point of contact - Act as a bridge to connect the product and development teams. Translate the vision and what each data product is designed to do for its users. Provide the dev team the why behind all user stories and other tasks they’re prioritizing. Collaborate for milestone planning – Partner closely with the dev team to estimate the work and set ambitious yet achievable goals. Report on the progress and status of the work to senior leaders. Meet for stakeholder management – Meet regularly with relevant stakeholders, managing their expectations, and strategically communicating with them to ensure alignment and buy-in throughout the product lifecycle. 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

8+ years of experience working in product management, project management, or similar domain area. Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Business or STEM related field. Experience managing timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners. Technical ability to understand, design, and explain complex product and data strategies to both business and technical audiences. Superior communication skills - oral and written; your documentation is second to none. Independently driven, tenacious, and hard working. Must be a team player.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Master’s Degree in STEM related field. Experience with data, data analytics, and data products. Experience with data pipelines and cloud environments.
